All was going so well!!
Everthing was going fine.... my wife and kids were are due to fly to Melbourne on the 14/09/05 and me having decorated the house, sold the cars and tied up any lose ends 3 weeks later.... We were trying to re-home our two cats as circumstances mean that they cannot follow....... Then the sledge hammer.......... Sammy one of our cats has been diagnosed with Feline Diabetes.... She needs injections everyday for the rest of her life and a very strict care regime...... No one will take her now..... We did not want to go down the route of Cats homes for them but now fear it is inevitable.... My other fear is that she will be institutionalised in the home as no prospective new owner will want the responsibility
Its a right rock and a hard place

Do you have any family or friends who would be prepared to take her? If not, and other routes like advertising in the vets etc aren't getting any responses, I'd recommend getting in contact with your local Blue Cross centre - they are usually more sympathetic to taking in cats with medical conditions than some other charities.
Good luck,
Nicky

Let me know if you get stuck and I'll ask around my family and friends for you, as we used to live in Egham, not too far away from you.

The're both pure white mum and daughter... mum has the diabetes which she is now having vigourous treatment for..... twice a day to the vets for injections and treatment, this is to get her sugar levels under control then the treatment eases off and we do the injections on a daily basis... BTW all this was brought on by feeding them dry food for years, the stuff you get in the vets that is recommended for cats.... People I have spoken to on another forum for Feline diabeted say its called "Kitty Crack", Its that bad for them so never feed it to them.
