I'm assuming you're going in for the kill as far as the pickled onions are concerned?

no black jacks this time :( bought loads last time when they were reduced and the Aussies I work with loved them

With regard to tea bags have you tried Aldi standard strong round, always bought Yorkshire Gold when we first got here but found these and felt they were nearly as good and at just over $2 a box they don't hit the bank account too hard.

They had loads of jars of mints last time as well, kept me going at work for months :D

I don't buy the teabags, I just spot them for SC :D

Ok went to Aldi this morn, got 2 boxes of Yorkshire Gold tea, $6.99 for a box of 40, a tad expensive, hence why I only picked up the two. :sneaky:

2 packs of choccie limes, 2 boxes of dolly mixtures and a packet of chocolate digestives.

That was my lot, people in there were going nuts.

Haven't been near the place, I'm away for a few days, not back in Brisbane till late Friday, working all weekend so the earliest I can get to an Aldi is Monday afternoon; same as last year I doubt there will be anything left

Well I hit British Week on the way to work - keen hey

The pickled onions are Australian pickled onions:eek:  felt right ripped off.

They had the biscuits, none of the sweets, except dolly mixtures and the soup, plus some mushy peas.

Won't bother with the onions then, I'll nip down to Celtic koala, they have the really strong British ones :)

I love mushy peas :o

I made bangers, mash and mushy peas for dinner last night and almost thought I was in heaven (apart from the sausages that ruined it, obviously :D).
