Anybody able to give me an idea of what Albion is like? Its the only place we can find affordable short term accommodation for in Brisbane and wondering if there is a reason for it! Bit of a long shot but its the Hampton Court Apartments if anyones stayed in them before....

I stayed there last week!

I was very nervous as it was so much cheaper than everywhere else...

But it was brilliant value Only problem I found being on the ground floor was the entrance door to the motel slamming at night and in the morning, and a few noisy idiots. I was then moved to a 2 bed apartment free of charge and the only problem was a bit of road noise.

Albion itself was ideal for me - restaurants, pub, train station and shops nearby plus close to the inner city bypass for when I drove over to Toowong for work.

I'm now seriously considering the area as a longer term prospect.

Brilliant! Thanks for that, funny how you spend ages looking for a good deal and then when you find one you decide there must be something wrong with it Sounds like it would be perfect for us though so will just go ahead and get it booked. If you are still there the begining of October see you in the corridor!
