Default Albany Creek, Brisbane - any comments please.

Hello

We are looking at buying in the Albany Creek area. Ideally looking to live the dream with a 4 bedroom house, possibly a pool though not important. A garden is more important really for the children.

Has anybody got any comments?

Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark

We rented a house in Bridgeman Downs when we went out to validate our visas last year, myself, Lone Ranger and our three boys. The owner of the house said that Albany Creek, Aspley and surrounding areas are all nice. Good schools too!
Hope this helps.
Cheers

hello markands, I reckon albany creek is a good area. Nice new estates with good wide roads, not too far from brisbane cbd, and good local amenities. Lots of young families in this area. For a 4 bed house there you are probably looking at $400k to $600k+, depending on what you are after.

good luck,

Thank you both. Well it now is a case of keeping an eye out at the real estate, and going to some auctions.

Regards

Mark

well good luck mate. But if I were you, I would also keep an eye on the private sales, not just auctions. One more point, I would also be ignoring everything that the sellers and real estate agents tell you.

cheers
