Question Airline Tickets & Visa

Hi

Do airlines or travel agents need to see your visa if booking a one-way ticket.

I bought mine 3 days ago, have already been sent the flight tickets and now have an email asking me to contact them urgently, but the person who called won;t be in until next week now and no one else knows what he wanted - stunning communication!

The only thing I can think of is that they need sight of the visa, could be wrong.

Any ideas?

Could well be....Maybe ask one of the travel agents who are there, if that is a normal requirement for a one way ticket? (showing the visa)

Hmmm... great... thanks for that - NOT!

She was most helpful as you can gather.

Nothing to do with them why you want a one way ticket. They don't need to see the visa. Must be something else
