Default Airline "Happy hour"

I remember a thread not so long ago about airlines having a "Happy Hour" and advertising really cheap flights.
My son desperately needs to get flights from Newman WA to Brisbane next weekend and the flights are megabucks!

Can't find the thread now. Can anyone help please?

Thanks,
Julie. x

Virgin has happy hour at 12 noon AET daily. Although, Newman isn't likely to be on the list of cheap flights.

Chances of getting a cheap flight out of Newman are limited. Mining companies take most of the seats, and they pay top dollar.

Not really going to get a cheap flight as I think only Qantas do that route and as previously mentioned it's mainly a mining route.

Thanks for the replies all. The most expensive part of the journey is the Newman - Perth bit. He's flown that route a couple of times now and it gets more expensive each time he does it. Crafty airlines know that the mining companies are willing to pay the fares

I'll let him know when the cheap deals are on

Thanks again.

P.S. Mags, loved the video
