Airline Choice (Karachi-Melbourne), Cost Vs Time ?

Could anyone tell me which Airline is best in terms of cost and duration of journey from travelling to Melbourne from Karachi.

You'll obviously go via one of the big Asian hubs, Singapore, Bangkok, KL.

I suspect Malaysian may be your best bet - quick search shows they have one way prices as low as about A$530 - that's very cheap!

Flight time about 16 hours with a short 2 hour layover in KL.

I like flying MH as well. Good seating in all cabins, good food and usually excellent service. KL is a good airport to spend a couple of hours as well and has a decent massage place and a Premium Plaza Lounge you can pay for if you don't have Lounge access through any other means.

From Karachi, I used to take PIA Quantas or Singapore Airlines with stay in Singapore for 6 hours. Thats about 10 years ago.
