Singapore Airlines - a little more expensive than others, but definately the best, especially if you are flying with children.

Hi, when I was rooting around for flights(we leave on the 15th) I found Singapore on-line came out the cheapest.

We've booked with Singapore airlines, never flown with them before but haven't heard a bad word said against them yet

No arguments with Singapore....

As a single male returning to Europe, and then back to Aus, I went with Virgin...cheaper.

As long as your flier has the in-flight handsets, that will help for the wee fellas.

The kids can play games with Dad while Mum has a nap etc...

Seat wise, still squeezy, but the attendants were very good, and the folk with kids appeared to be well treated...

But, go for Sing if poss.

I'm not Rach, but we are having a 3 night stopover in Singapore on the way to Melbourne and its VERY cheap, £128 each (thats 4 adults) for the 3 nights, there was a cheaper option too of about £90. Its in a very nice hotel too but obviously no food included.
I was gobsmacked, I thought it would be that for 1 night!!

Try Emirates. Should be A340 with ICE entertainment - films & games, over 100 channels guaranteed to keep the family occupied. Not sure how prices compare though.

You can go from Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Gatwick & Heathrow to Dubai then Singapore, Sydney.

Singapore Airlines gets my vote every time

We've booked again with them for the one way in October and as we are not having a stopover we have got the 40kg baggage allowance.

Hi Mandy. We are not stopping over. We have 5 hours to kill in the airport - -loads to do though by the looks of the website. We decided to get the journey overwith as soon as poss (might regret that) and have a jolly when we arrive in Adelaide.
