I think they should just drug all the passenger B.A. style (thats BA from the A-Team not British Airways).
That would save on seats, food etc

What if both tickets are with Air Asia?

Most budget airlines - and I'm assuming AAX are one of these - only offer a point to point service. If you have a connecting flight it will be on a separate ticket. So if your incoming flight was delayed and you missed your next flight, then it would be your problem, not theirs. Ryanair and Easyjet operate like this. Those 99p (+fees) flights come at a price.

I dont think I would use this Route with Kids. Maybe once they hit Teenage years.

For travelling as a couple or alone, with a 2 night stop over each way... a fantastic way to go.

And I bet a flight from KL to London booked at the last minute due to missed connection would cost a lot more then $500.

Stopovers therein lies a question, having never done one myself.

Is Jetlag totally negated, with a stopover in Fareast Asia.... Assuming a 12-13 hour flight to and from the UK ?

You could even use the Air Asia branded Tune Hotel in KL....room rates starting at 3USD per night! I kid you not! However you'll have to pay for a towel, air con, etc, etc................

http://www.tunehotels.com/downtownKL_Room.aspx

I've decided to give it a go on the way over....it looks fun! 2 nights for $70.

Just like the Air Asia safety message at the start of the journey.

"In the event of depressurization swipe your credit card and an oxygen mask will drop down from above"

Either I got the 1 day rate, or it's almost half price in August 46 dollars for two nights I got quoted... Must be what a rich Arab feels like lol

I love how they refer to the floors as 'Gallery Floors' when in actual fact it just means there is advertising EVERYWHERE.......the 6th floor is brought to you by Maggi noodles!

Totally agree - I went as far as the actual booking then remembered that I was travelling with a 4 year old and a 7 month old - WTF was I thinking?!!!! My god I think that would kill me...great if you are on your own or a couple. It's bad enough flying CheesySqueezyJet

Cool Re: Air Asia starts the London flights out of KL

i agree with the food charges on board in AirAsia will cost an arm and a leg. Having say that they also announce that they will knock down the price even lower when there £91 (RM 271) once they increase the flight frequencies. I wonder will Airasia charge more for drink and meal for long haul flight?
