Hi Daffy, I'll be interested to know what the meet and greet is like. Shellypuss stayed in it in Sleaford Rise for 3 weeks, dodgy area apparently.

I emailed Malcom (one of the meet and greeters) to ask about the areas and his reply was something like "you don't get rough areas in Adelaide". I don't know but we will soon find out. I have to email the Immi Dept a week before our flight to confirm we are still going and hopefully I may be told where it is we will be renting. It's a bit scary but hey its a roof over our heads and a place to sleep as soon as we arrive. The last time I went to Oz I arrived in Perth and knew no-one and no-where. I had to search for a hostel. Mind that was 13 years ago and I was young and carefree and had no kids to worry about. Hopefully I can access the site from some Internet cafe until we get our own system up and running. Hope also to meet you as I have read proably most of your msgs on this site. Take care. |
