It certainly is an awful lot more than I paid - I paid the meds and x ray fee but none of the extras - ring around other docs on the panel to find their costs. You aren't tied to one doc

That is really expensive. We saw Dr Million at Medmigration in Manchester, in November.

Med exam - £95 each
Chest x-ray - £55 each
Hep b -£20 each
HIV - £20 each
Hep C - £30 each
No phlebotomy charge, Dr did bloods himself. Everything was done at same time including x-rays. All 5 of us done in an hour and half. He was Brill.
Oh £10 for courier service.

Hi,

I echoe all the others comments.

We have just booked our medicals in Hertfordshire. 2 adults (with tattoes) and 2 children (without tattoes - LOL)!
£600.00 all in.

There must be another Panel Doctor in your area - otherwise travel a bit - you will still save money.

regards

Carol

As the others have said, that is way over the top. I think I would call them up and ask them why they are charging such a huge amount...........but definately do not use them!!!

price for meds and xrays sounds ok, we didn't get charged extra for phelebotomy and our hiv was included in the meds price and I paid extra for hep b and c (health worker) and this was only £20. I think they are ripping you off with the blood tests I'm sorry to say......

Like everyone says, the prices are ridiculously high, apart from the postage which seems too low for registered mail. Have you got special medical conditions or something? If not, perhaps you should report this to DIMA to see if anyone else queries about their charges too? Just a thought.

HOW MUCH?
We haven't had ours yet but have phoned our nearest panel doctor for prices and been quoted as follows:
X-rays 60 per adult (sorry GBP sign not working on keyboard).
Examination 85 per adult, 50 per child.
Blood test 25 per person.

I'd take everyones advice and go elsewhere!!
Good luck with it all though x

I think they are taking you for a ride, its ridiculous. I suggest you have a weeks break to Cyprus - 300 quid each and arrange a medical here for 120 quid each all in. A relaxing medical break!!

Just a shade under £500 for two adults and two kids at the Handsworth centre.

Think someones trying to make a fast buck out of you I'm afraid.
