Agents Fees for PR application

Hi,

I am on a 457 visa that is due to expire in a few months, but my sponsoring company has offered to sponsor for PR subject to me signing a further 1 year tie in in my contract.

They claim they need to do this as the cost of applying for PR (through Deloittes) is about $10,000...
If this is the true fee, then I reckon they are being ripped off big time - but wanted to see if anyone else had an idea of the cost of using an agent to process the application...

If I can find a reputable agent to do it cheaper I may be able to negociate down any contract tie in period, so I am keen to get some more info..

Any info/contacts would be great - especially so if the agent were based in Sydney..

Cheers

Steve

What do they get for their $10,000. Does that include contracts or anything else. If not then it's way too overpriced!!

Have a word with Alan and George about it by PM or e-mail.

The fee is purely for doing the "admin" required to get PR...

Sounds like a good place to start - thanks Rodders...

I think I may drop Alan Collett a line too...

I'd say they are taking the mick with that charge then. You'd be better off doing it all yourself! You could charge them half price ;)
