Default agents

I called an agent from the paper to see about prices and times etc and some of the things they said sounded a bit odd..........

stuff like
"there WILL be information in this report that you do not know and cannot find out by reading books, magazines or newspapers, consuting goverment departments or surfing the web."
this was in respect to a report they can do for me about the whole process of moving to oz, this report also costs £95 for a defacto spouse visa a skilled visa would cost more.

are they honest or is it just a case of stretching the truth so i'll pay them to take on my case.
also which agents should i be carefull off? anyone on here been stung by an agent or have great things to say about them.
I'm not sure if i want to use an agent or not, it seems like a lot of money.

cheers all

I think they are talking crap. It's a transparent process, everything is on the DIMIA website. I say go it alone if you feel confident enough do do it on youe own. There is enough info on this & other websites to help you.

We are using Overseas Emigration. They have been very helpful, nothing is too much trouble...worth every penny.
