whats the take home pay for
Hi
was wondering how much someone would take home on $34,000 excluding tax and medicare if any looking on the worse scenario in wages or are people surviving on less

Tax on $34,000 should be $6,372.00
Medicare Levy should be $510.00
Total Deductions = $6,882 = Net $27,118 or:
Weekly $521.50
Fortnightly $1043.00
Monthly $2,259.80
If you have children, then you would get FTB paid to you by Centrelink
This could be about $108 per week if you have one child aged 5-13
If you are renting, and are eligible for the above FBT, then a rent assistance can also be paid. In the above example, with $300 pw rent, you would also get about $55pw in rent assistance.
Your employer should also pay an extra 9% ($3,060pa) into a super fund for you.
