I'm on a shortlist of 3, to be decided next week.

Not really feeling confident as against two Aussies, just hope that they're not in the plumbing game if they are I doubt I'll get it.

Any useful tips?
Frazer, If it was up to me I'd give u it as you seem as if you'd appreciate it. Give them hell and you'll be ok. Good luck

How was your first week mate?

Nope, but she may have to if I can't get work.

I'm giving it until xmas, as she's already been told by an agency that she'll get work no problem.

Send them a letter thanking them for their time and how impressed you were with the company. They might just bear you in mind if Mr 1st Choice doesn't work out or another position comes up (it worked for me before).
You ain't alone out there struggling to get on

Christmas is a long time to wait isnt it? Couldnt Rachel look at getting casual work while you're job hunting? Might take the pressure off a bit?

Good luck
