Default Affordable beach locations in victoria

Hi

Hope someone may be able to offer some advice.

I am currently applying for an stni visa for victoria. I really want to live near the coast but would not be able to afford the prices near the most well known beaches.

Does anyone know of any suburbs that have good transport links that would be suitable. I am a secondary school teacher so being close to a few large schools would also be good.

Cheers

If you're looking for under $300K, you would primarily looking at Frankston, Seaford, Carrum (not Carrum Downs), Bonbeach, Chelsea, Chelsea Heights. Of course, as prices in these suburbs are fairly low, you need to research the areas/streets as there are some not so desirable streets amongst them.

What about greater Geelong? Only an hour's drive from the big smoke if you need to go there.

Try Torquay, Grovedale, Ocean Grove...
