Advisable to send medicals prior to being requested?
 

Hi all

I sent my PR a couple of months ago and have had the acknowledgemtn letter.

Im about to get my medicals and (with the aide of that great fax number) police checks back. Is it advisable to send them BEFORE them being requested? Are there any issues like them being lost in the systme etc?

Hi Dave,

All I can say is that I've sent in medicals and new police forms before being asked for them. Then at least when they do ask for them I can IMMEDIATELY phone them back and tell them to look in their in trays.

We had the medicals done as we jsut felt we had to do something!!
Not much use I'm afriad but know where you are coming from.

We're doing the same as Nigel. Got the medicals booked for 9th July as we were getting a little frustrated too.

hi our agent based in oz has recommend that we front load our applications with medicals etc.she is of the belief that it will be processed quicker.

where can you get the forms for the medicals?
I have phoned DIMA (London) twice to be told that they will only be sent out when medicals are requested, by them, to be done.
So I would be very grateful if someone could help.
Is ther an email address I could request them from? If yes, what is it?

We just had our medicals done, as we're expecting a request any day.

We got some extra forms from the doctor we used - why don't you ask for them when you book an appointment - i'm sure they'll oblige, as they're making money out of it.

Might need to imply you've lost yours?

Sorry mickey, i dont know ,we had ours forwarded to us by our agent,but loads of people front load their applications so they m
must be out there somewhere
