Advice Please - Medical Insurances?
Hey everyone.
Myself and my fiancee are in Australia at present on Working Holiday Visas and am a bit confused about Medical Insurance?
I have looked online and been quoted 40 bucks a week each which I thought was a little steep. Are we better getting travel insurance from the UK for the time we are here instead?
To be honest were really confused about this matter and would appreciate any help anyone can offer.
Thanks in advance
Craig

You would be better off getting travel insurance - you are covered for doctors etc under medicare but if you get seriously ill and need repatriating to the UK you would have to fork out for it.
The best I can recommend is www.worldnomads.com who are happy to insure you even though you are not in your 'home' country.
