advice please!!
I'll start for thanking all members of the sight for sharing the experiences and thoughts.
But i need advice i have searched the threads and have not come across one that helps.
We are currently getting all our bits together to put in for our TRA's. My wife is a hairdresser and recieved her training in her mum's salon some 12 years ago. She did not recieve any formal qualifications. Now claire has 8 years of full time work experience in 2 salons and has excellent refernces from both, however her first refernce the author of it has now passed away will this cause us an issue? (how can they validate the refernce? TRA state's for trade applications 6 years worth of work experience is required.)
please advise we really want to join you guys and start living

Re: advice please!!
city and guilds is that an NVQ3?
Claire is loaded onto a course just incase we need the qualifications but it doesn't start until sept and would take well over a year to get to NVQ2 , but if needs must we are prepared. will try getting through on experience first.
