Advice on the payment process of getting a visa
We are using an agent who wants £700 for assisting us with the migration. They want half now and half when the formas are ready to be lodged. Any help on when you have to pay the actual A$ to cover the Visa and also when do you have to pay the medical money.

You pay when you lodge the visa for the application fee. You send the application they debit your credit card, unless you send a bank draft with the application. Easier to track credit card debit though.
The medicals you pay for when you have them done, possibly about 10 months down the line, if you're lucky.
