Advice on exchanging $ to £
We are wanting to exchange some AU dollars into pounds sterling, what is the best/Cheapest way of doing this???

whoops - realised u are changing the other way round.
Cheapest way is to do it NOW .....before the exchange rate recovers!!

It obviously depends on how much you want to change..
I just took my flexible friend and 1500 bucks when I went back to the UK, changed the dollars into pounds at the local UK post office (small commission)and they changed what I had left back in to dollars (no charge)

I would not panic, the £ is never going to go back to 40p=1$ levels, ever. The £ has been overvalued for years.
If anything I think it will slide further so I'd advise people waiting to change into $ to do it now!
