Hi everyone

I am researching locations. Can anyone give me any information about Esk or Warwick, in Brisbane. Any info would be great, such as:

Are there decent schools for kids under 12?
Whats the business scene like?
Are there and 'bad' areas to watch out for?

Esk and Warwick are both in Queensland, but not in Brisbane.

Brisbane to Esk = 100km / 1-1½ hours drive

Brisbane to Warwick = 160km / 2 hours drive

Esk is a fairly small country town in the 'Brisbane Valley', an area west of Brisbane where a lot of our fresh produce is grown. The Esk Shire Council website may be of interest to you.

Warwick is a larger town further west on the Darling Downs and closer to the NSW border. Here's a link to the Warwick Shire Council for further information.

If you are looking for somewhere really quiet......Esk is the place!

Be warned though.........not much going on and Saturday nights are not going to be much fun!

Both Esk & Warwick will not provide much in terms of employment opportunities.

Also consider Toowoomba which is nearby (in Ozzy terms at least) and whilst pretty quite there is much more going on.
