Is admission to Gov't schools assured if u r in the Zone?
Hi,
We're moving to Victoria in November on a PR. We hope to identify somewhere to settle approx 1 hour outside Melbourne before the new school year starts at the end of Jan. Do the Goverment Primary & Secondary schools have to accept our children if we move into their school zone?
Cheers

Not sure for Melbourne but we were told in Adelaide they dont have to accept your child just because you live in the Zone, it comes down to class places available!! But like I said that was Adelaide so could be different in Melbourne!!
