adelaide web site?

We discovered (and deleted!) a wonderful web site about a family from UK who emigrated to Adelaide. Its the SA equivalent of Tim Sorells site on Brisbane. They had lots of facts, photos and useful info. The man was an accountant and they had a few kids. If anyone knows the site, or any similar, please advise.

Thanks again, Carol.

A quick search on google.com for "adelaide emigrate uk" came up with this:

This is not related to the website the Summers family was looking for, but it is a link to a company that has an office in Adelaide, they have a page on Adelaide and Brisbane with many links to informative sites.

It's worth taking a look if you're doing a bit of research on living in this great city.

Hi Darren and Julie,

I've been in Adelaide for 18 months now. I love it here.

We're very lucky to have an apartment in North Adelaide which is beautiful, my boyfriend and I are looking moving to The Hills in a couple of years' time.

A few people are surprised that I chose Adelaide over the Eastern cities, the initial reason was for bf, but now I've grown to love the place and have visited the aforementioned cities I'm happy with my choice to live here.

I've lived in villages that have a post office and a pub and nothing else, and I've lived in central London. At this stage in life I'm happy with the size of Adelaide, the accessibility of everything is great.

I could prattle on for a while, but I have work to do, I've signed up for your community, I'd be happy to help out with any questions you have. BTW to save you looking up past posts of mine: I'm 23 and in November I got my de facto spouse visa.

Nara
