Hi, If you live in Adelide or have ever been there (I haven't) How many marks out of 10 would you give Adelaide ???
We are heading for Adelaide if we get our visa....

CORKER
We spent a week there in 2000, and I really liked the place. Couldn't comment on the job opportunities as we only went for a holiday really, but it seemed near enough to everything, eg National Parks, coastal areas etc. If it wasn't for the fact that we were going STNI to Vic, my other preference would have been Adelaide.

I give it 8 out of 10 - based on a weeks visit. Give it 10 out of 10 compared to Perth - based on the visit only

Everybody that visits Adelaide from the eastern states describes it as a nice or scenic laid back small city, but ask them if they would want to live there the answer is no. There are much better places to live in the eastern states. Adelaide is a nice place to live fo 2 or 3 years but you then run out of things to do and places to go. Adelaide has the oldest population in OZ, people over 60, many young people leave the state. The city is known as the " City of Churches" because it is a conservative place and has alot of bible bashers.
The economy is is weak and less employment opportunites then the eastern states. l give it 5 out of 10.
