Adelaide DVD

Hi, sorry about this but somewhere on here I am sure that I have read that people have been sent a DVD on Adelaide. If that is the case please can someone let me know where I can get hold of one.

Originally we were looking at Brisbane but now we are toying with Adelaide and would like to know a little more about the place.

Thanks in anticipation.

Hi Lou, Me & OH went to adelaide in Jan but came back after 2 months, but were seriously thinking of going back soon & giving oz another go. We liked adelaide, but a lot of people knock it. Its seen as backwards compared to mel or sydney - weve been to all 3 & I would say that Adelaide is more backwards, but the pace of life there is slower & more laid back. You would need to pick youre area carefully, some parts of adelaide arent great. From :Dwhat we saw, the north is quite industrial, east of the city towards the hills is nice (But Pricey), the west by the coast was ok, and south has got good & bad bits. The thing we liked about adelaide is what it has around it - youve got the hills, kangaroo island, beaches, mclaren vale & barossa valley etc all within easy reach of the city, so plenty to do at weekends. The city itself is nothing special, but pleasant enough, with lots of parks & gardens making it feel open & spacious. It all depends what you want - wages are generally lower in SA & the cost of housing is going up - dont think it was the great value it used to be. The only way really is to go & see it for yourselves - if you didnt like it could you move somewhere else? Good luck ;)
