Question Adelaide bound - require info if poss

Require some advice re travelling to Adelaide. My wife has decided that she would like to visit Adelaide when we go out to Australia. I’ve managed to get some info from the Southern Australia website (think it’s immigration.sa.gov.au) but am looking for any other good sites that would help us plan our time out there.

As we’re thinking of emigrating there so this trip will be a fact finding one so any info will be very useful on suburbs to visit, places to rent for the stay (maybe self catering) etc etc.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Try http://www.sacentral.com.au - very handy for links to all sorts of South Australian websites.

Iain,

We're planning to headout mid June to Adelaide for approx 10 days before going onto Brisbane for another 10 days (or maybe the other way around depending on what the wife thinks! )

Do you mind me asking if you're hoteling, b&bing whilst out there or staying with friends?

Hi Keaton,

We are staying at my sister in laws house when we go so are quite lucky to save money on accomodation.
If you need to know about places to stay i can ask my sis in law to find out.

We are also considering emmigrating and are using the time out there to see the lay of the land.
We will also be looking at different areas for houses ,schools and so on.

We will be leaving the U.K 28th June so if you are out there we could maybe hook up for a beer

Give me a shout when you Know when you are going out.

Cheers, Iain

I don't know what your budget is, or where you're looking to stay in Adelaide. If you're looking for low budget and a pretty central location the Princes Lodge on Lefevre Terrace in North Adelaide is pretty good, it's where my dad stays whenever he comes to Adelaide. It boarders the parklands and is a 2 minute walk from O'Connell St.

The number is +61 8 8267 5566.
