Addtional cost on flights
Hi Guys
Just got a quote for some one way flights via Singapore. These are additional charges on top of the fares
UK Departure Tax 2 @ 20.00 40.00
UK Departure Tax 2 @ 20.00 40.00
Airline Failure Insurance 2 @ 5.00 10.00
UK Passenger Service Charge 2 @ 11.00 22.00
UK Passenger Service Charge 2 @ 11.00 22.00
Fuel/Airline Insurance Surcharge 2 @ 48.00 96.00
Fuel/Airline Insurance Surcharge 2 @ 48.00 96.00
Australian Passenger Service Charge 2 @ 5.00 10.00
Australian Passenger Service Charge 2 @ 5.00 10.00
Singapore Departure Tax 2 @ 11.00 22.00
Singapore Departure Tax 2 @ 11.00 22.00
Come to a total of £388. :scared: I am assuming Fuel/Airline Insurance Surcharge 2 @ 48.00 96.00 is for standard insurance with a fancy name which I hope to get separately unless anyone else knows different.

We flew with Malaysian airlines last year and I dont recall paying all those additional charges

Don't forget "Breathing Tax".... 
They tax you on everything. Booked a one way flight to Sydney via Hong Kong on Saturday and they charged us £206 tax for 2 of us.
