Hi all just wondering if you could help. Well yesterday I recieved a letter from my case officer requesting a copy of my birth certificate which wasn't included in my application, is that mean or do you think all the information I sent with my application are ok and waiting for decision after they got a copy of my birth certificate. Is there anyone been in similar situation. Thanks.

I think all the lists of stuff to include mention your birth certificate, so they are not really being mean, though its obviously apain. The case officers have a list of stuff they must have, and they can't proceed without those things.
Look on the bright side - they have't rejected you, just want another piece of paper!

Did you not read the list of required documents or did you think they did not apply to you? Now I am being mean but it was asked for in the first place. Make sure you send in a certified copy of your full birth certificate or you will delay your application some more. Double check anything you might have missed to prevent further delays to your application.
