Additional fees after deposit - is this normal?
Have just arranged short term accom in Brisbane, and had agreed a good weekly price with the owner. However, now after having paid a very large deposit, he has now come back with an addtionally nightly 'booking' fee which has never been mentioned before in any of our many e-mails? We cant get our deposit back as it is too close to arrival date, so we are basically stuffed. Is this normal? We found the accomodation through an online holiday accomodation directory (who I dont want to name but were not the problem).
I have e-mailed him with my concerns, and to check that there are no more surprise charges, and his entire response was 'No'
Is there anything I can do now?

Is there someone in Brissie that knows the website or phone no for a suitable agency to check up on this sort of thing ?
