ACS & RPL
Has anyone used this website http://rplhelp.50webs.com/ for help with completing the RPL. Just wondered if it was worth paying the money?
Thanks

I do have it book marked to use when I get to that stage, I believe RPL is a nightmare so any help is appreciated, Ill be using it. I think the guy on this site who set it up specialised in IT so I hope it can be customised for other professions

yes I have bought the RPL example and it was £20 or so and to me worth it - not to copy but just to give a feel to what is required as we all have our own story to tell..
Just starting the RPL process myself now
The site has also started its own forum for questions
Good luck!

Thanks for that. Think it would be worth us giving it a look. Like you, we just wanted some guide on what these things should look like and hwat sort of things they expect to see.
Good luck with yours.

Re: ACS & RPL
I stumbled across that site the other day. If only I'd looked for these forums before I submitted my RPL! However, mine is now sent off and I'm in waiting limbo mode.
My advice (which may not be worth listening to as I haven't had a pass/fail yet!) is to write down anything that you might think is relevant. It took me 6 months to do it, and my RPL form was 34 pages in the end.
I'm glad that mine is now out of the way, and all I can say is good luck to you guys!
Regards,
Dazz

Mand,
Yes I bought the complete application with project reports for 20 quid, like James says not for copying, but gives a flavour of what needs to be written which can't be gained from the ACS guidlines or CBOK. I'm almost done now, it certainly helped me.
Hope this helps.

Adypem,
Yes, that does help. Think we'll go for it.
Good luck with yours.
Let us know how you (all of you) get on.
