ACS assessment

Hi Folks,
My application was sent on 08/01/2002 for acs assessment under
2231-17 and yet after 3 months there is no sign of assessment.
Are there any others who are having a 3 month delay or more?
regards

That is unusual. You should contact with ACS and ask them about your status. Maybe
they sent your result to a wrong address or maybe your mail lost. You can requir them
send a new result letter to you.

I have been following this thread and it looks like the processing time for ACS
assessments has gone up considerably in recent months. I applied in late August last
year and got a response by November, even after a delay due to incorrect
documentation. One of you guys should contact the ACS and ask why the times have gone
up so much. You should get a decent response if you ask politely, after all, you are
paying for the service.

Unless the number of applications has increased significantly, the only obvious
reason for the latest delays are internal problems within the ACS. You would
expect a professional body to provide a professional service, practice what you
preach and all that.

This is not entirely helpful to those of you waiting I know, however I still think it
is worth asking the ACS what is going on.

sent an email to them with my Name,Address(Lawyer's address),Lawyer's Name(George Lombard),ASCO code,
Country(India),Date of Birth.
Do I need anything else?
How long does it take acs to respond back?
Does ACS give any kind of reference No ?

Re: ACS assessment

Does anyone have a feel for the time delay from your credit card being charged by the ACS to the time approval is received (ie NOT from the time the application was sent?).
Is the credit card charging an indication that they are beginning the process?

thanks all

FYI ... I applied 23rd Feb 2002 and my card was charged 15th April 2002 ... no response yet ...

Re: ACS assessment

I am 2231-17 as well, and I have waited over two months and all I have is the receipt
for the money taken from my credit card account.
