Can anyone recommend somewhere nice to stay overnight so we can visit Australia Zoo one day and The Glasshouse Mountains the following day?

We will be coming up from the Gold Coast

Hi,

My suggestion would be to stay in Caloundra at maybe the Le Promenade on the beach and drive (20 mins) to the zoo and Glasshouse.

The glass house mountains, and Aussie zoo, only takes up one day !

I would stay in Mooloolabah, and do the Water World, next day ! Instead...

If you go up to the GHM... then make sure you go upto the lookout !!

Will be going with mom and its a 2 hour drive each way, hence the need to stay over!!! Thanks C x

I stayed in Landsborough caravan site, they have units which are very nice indeed, either with a toilet for slightly more money or communal facilities which are very clean.

It is run by a lovely couple, and it is only a ten minute drive from the zoo. I loved my stay at that site, they are welcoming and very helpful.

I can see if I can dig out the details for you.
