Accommodation on arriving
Accommodation on arriving
So how do you guys go about sorting accommodation for when you arrive?
We have our flights booked for 31 Jan 2008, we intend on renting for a while & then hope to buy after 6 months - 1 year. Were we thinking of getting a services apartment in Melbourne while we look for a place to rent but its looking very expensive at over $200 per night. Seeing as it could take a good few weeks to find a place that would seriously eat into our savings.
Any tips & in particular can anyone recommend a place to stay pretty close to the CBD in Melbourne for a few weeks on arrival?

Re: Accommodation on arriving
thanks lots of good info there. You had any luck securing a place? We have 2 young children aswell but lucky to be able to drop them at their grandparents in Tassie for a couple of weeks while we sort ourselves out.
