Accepted skills in Aus
Can anyone tell me the process my 22 year old son would have to go through to get a job in Aus. We have RRV's and going back next year but having qualified in the UNK with City and Guilds Craftmason would this be relevant in Aus or would he have to take a test to enable him to work his trade there - Queensland is where we are aiming for.

They say they have RRVs - provided RRVs are valid (and that the son has his own), he doesn't need to get a skilled visa.

Just re read it I had assumed (wrongly) that he did not have a visa.

Having an RRV just means he can live/work in Australia - he must still comply with any registration requirements that exist in Queensland for his trade.
