It's just not possible for me to move at present. This aside, I would point out that the property market is overinflated and that rentals are running at a 1% margin instead of the standard 6%. This means there are far more people wanting a rental than there are rentals available, and many are infact now being 'auctioned' to the highest bidder! An illegal practice but it's still taking place here. I'd suggest you check out the east coast, melbourne, sydney, brisbane etc. If things don't work out in one place, it's easy enough to mover up/down the seaboard. If things don't work out in Perth you have to travel around 2000 + miles to relocate to a major livable city. Much better nightlife, shopping, entertainment, sports, art and culture in places like sydney and melbourne too. |

Firstly you will need to check your trade certificates etc meet OZ/state requirements for registration in state you will be moving to. You may be required to undertake additional training in some circumstances.

The East coast is worth considering but beware the humidity in some other parts. |

If you were to consider Perth I would advise considering Fremantle, Leederville, Mount Lawley and Subiaco if your budget allows.
