About Aussie Visas

Can anyone tell what is involved with getting a Visa to stay an extended period of time in Austraila? I would be appreciative of any viable suggestions as to how to go about this..

Thanks.....Bear

Chewy:

Have not totally explored the site yet, Seems like everything is geared toward folks that are from quite a few countries tho, none of them being the U.S.A.

I find this strange..tho, I am sure not too many folks from the U.S want to migrate to Australial.

It may happen for me at some point in the future and that is why I am looking now..It is not that I want to give up my status as a citizen of the U.S, just wanted to find out what was involved..

Seems like alot of stuff....Ah well, different strokes for different folks...

I will check out the site at length and I do appreciate what you have provided to me...Thanks Chewy....Bear

Hi ibear,

I am a U.S. citizen and I just got approval on my prospective marriage visa. Although I got my application from the DIMA office in Perth, that site is the recommended site to go to for assistance.

Try this one as well

it's the australian embassy in Washington, DC
