Can anyone tell what is involved with getting a Visa to stay an extended period of time in Austraila? I would be appreciative of any viable suggestions as to how to go about this..
Thanks.....Bear |

Re: About Aussie Visas
Chewy:
Have not totally explored the site yet, Seems like everything is geared toward folks that are from quite a few countries tho, none of them being the U.S.A. I find this strange..tho, I am sure not too many folks from the U.S want to migrate to Australial. It may happen for me at some point in the future and that is why I am looking now..It is not that I want to give up my status as a citizen of the U.S, just wanted to find out what was involved.. Seems like alot of stuff....Ah well, different strokes for different folks... I will check out the site at length and I do appreciate what you have provided to me...Thanks Chewy....Bear |
Re: About Aussie Visas
Hi ibear,
I am a U.S. citizen and I just got approval on my prospective marriage visa. Although I got my application from the DIMA office in Perth, that site is the recommended site to go to for assistance. Try this one as well http://www.austemb.org it's the australian embassy in Washington, DC |
