Does anyone have information about abn as the ato website does not give me the desired information i require, hypothetically speaking suppose someone worked as a sole trader and earnt example 10000 on a one off payment and used abn no. excluding the first 6000 obviously how much would have to be paid back, as a sole trader with no employees and no payg paid to abn tax site as of yet,regards

I believe it just goes on your total earnings for the year - at the end of the year you will be asked for the normal tax rate that you would have paid if you earnt that as an employee - minus any tax deductable items which were used to earn the 10000.
