What you need to know is the local purchasing power figure. Last row before the costings breakdown.

This site does an excellent job of that for location v location based on average salary (after tax) and cost of things.

Too many people on here get caught up with salaries, convert it on current exchange rates then figure out rents, convert that on exchange rates.

Its a fatal mistake.

Agreed, but his spreadsheet included tons of stuff that is not listed on Nimbeo based on his families general overall costs, from running costs of the cars, kids school uniforms and excursions, general comparisons of household items they had and how much to buy new.
It was his overall yearly costs over a 3 year period.
