6 seater car hire Brisbane
Anyone ever hired a six seater (4 adults, 2 kids) at a reasonable price in Brissy? I can get a Tarago for $85/day but would like to find a better price?

Rent a Tarago For $65 per day for 3 days

Need a people mover? Rent a Tarago for a minimum of 3 days in Cairns, Coolangatta or Brisbane (Airport and Downtown locations) for $65 a day with 200kms free per day, just another way Budget Drives Your Dollar Further.
Valid for rentals from the 15 January and up to and including 28 February 2005

Be very wary of 'special deals'.
I notice many of the 'best' deals have kms limited to about 100km a day and then 50c/km after that (for a Tarago). Now I want to use one to transport rellies the length and breadth of SEQ, on a limited kms I'd be paying another $50 a day even just for a trip to the Sunshine Coast and back.
I found that Hertz do one for $55/day, before GST etc which brought it up to around $430/week (still before excess reduction at just under $20/day).
I'd stil be interested to find somewhere where I can rent older models (6 seater+).

Do you need something as big as a tarago. How about a Kia carnival? (7 seater)

I've no idea what they are like, but they are nationwide.

This is hard work!
Rentabomb do the old Tarago at $360/week (for a/c vehicle) which is 10-15% cheaper than a new one from Hertz (accounting for govt taxes). Their excess is less at $1000 (compared to about $2500) and excess insurance at $4.40/day reduces excess to $500. They also have unlimited kms, HOWEVER, travel is limited to the metropolitan area (within 50kms of Brisbane) otherwise an unspecified fee applies.
Think I need to call them to work out whether Hertz or Rentabomb best fits my requirements.
