6.80% Account in oz, check it out
With bankwest, sorry about the title, its actually 6.80% which is still absolutely brilliant
then it goes down to 6.25% in 12 months, great for us with the house money.
Just thought id share as mine currently is only 5.25%

Ive posted about this account a couple of times. We invested with them while building, but its a internet account you get no paperwork apart from initial account number. Bank of WA seems as sound as the rest of them but the interest rate on this particular account does seem to be the highest (well for the 12 months).

Hi, it is genuine! We have 3 BankWest Telenet accounts with them because of the interest only. It is all done online with no paperwork but only the first account attracts the 6.8% all others are 6.25 which is still a good account. I would certainly recommend them. Hope this helps. PS You need to quote another account as a feeder account to pay money in and out of so it can't be your only account.

Looks good, it should be pointed out that it is for Australian residents only and for those thinking it is excellent for depositing the house money, you can't do it from the UK and have to quote an Australian address and TFN.

Just had an email to say that our HSBC online account will now be paying 6.8% as well. That's good!
