5 Newbies need help
Hi
We are a family of 5 hoping to leave for sydney shortly after Christmas. We are currently in the process of applying for a sponsored 457 visa which seems to be taking forever. OH will be visiting Sydney for 2 weeks at end of Oct to have a reccie and meet new colleagues. Would love to hear from anyone else in or planning to go to Sydney region and any info, tips, advice would be gratefully welcomed. Does anyone know timescales for 457s at the mo. We have just filled out the forms and sent back to migration agent so should be lodged any day. I'm starting to panic we may not get there till later next year due to backlogs. Sorry to waffle AJ |

Sorry to waffle AJ can't help on the 457, but as Hutch suggest try asking or searching in the immigration part of the forum where abouts in Sydney are you considering? where will your OH be working? how old are the kids? what are you hoping for out of where to live? that might help generate a few ideas good luck :) |
