5 months since last visit - now happy in Perth
Hi All
Last visited in July to say our goodbyes, now settling into our new life here in Perth. Words can't describe everything you feel when leaving and arriving. Flew with Emirates, good flight - but lost some luggage.
Glad we booked some accomadation 1st, Poms in Perth - great!
Life has been hectic and our feet didn't touch the ground for several weeks.
But I am so glad we did it. The kids finally settling now. Hubby got work straight away. Bought cars, in first week, house the second, didn't bring furniture so had to buy all furnishings etc. :scared:
Mainly only sent clothes, personnel stuff, Excess baggage manged to damage the most expensive items we did send - tv and surround sound equipment - great
Life is now much calmer, and we are starting to relax and enjoy our new life here in Carramar, well worth it!
Got my bbq, pool and palm trees, beers stacked in huge fridge, just need the temperature to go up, then christmas will be perfect
So all those out there in 'Waiting Land' it really is worth it.
Looking forward to catching up with everyone on here.
