Default 5 Albums to Emigrate with

If you could only take 5 Albums with you what would they be?

Meat Loaf - Bat out of hell;
Queen - Greatest Hits 1 & 2 (OK, count it as two if you must!)
Pink Floyd - The Wall
Kate Bush - The Whole Story
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat soundtrack (if I'm allowed this last one)

Changes with mood, but right now.................

The verve.... urban hyms
The cure......desintergration
The jam.......dig the new breed

(lot of "the's in there, is it symbolic)

The waterboys... this is the sea
U2 ........ the joshua tree

I'm having a bit of a "less current" phase due to the unwrapping of much missed cd collection in shipment

Sorry but it has great memories for me - I won an all expenses paid weekend trip to London to see Philip Schofield in Joseph.. it was a great trip and I've loved the music ever since!

It's also a great tonic when I'm feeling low - just the thing for homesickness/castaway blues...

sjn2003 is on a distinguished road
Default

1. An old Graeme Park in Ibiza 1992 (now on CD) taped off the radio - quality for chilling to on a sunny day.

2. Something from Sasha (too many to choose from) early/mid 90's house.

3. Classic House Mastercuts - compilation

4. U2 The Best Of 1980 - 1990

5. My Way - The Best of Frank Sinatra - for when I needed a mood change.

But if I had the time I would do 5 compilation CDs covering a much more eclectic mix than the above.
