47SK - Anyway to fill it out electronically ?
Hi,
Has anyone come across a version of 47SK that you can fill-in electronically ? There was one version but it was for the old version of the form.
Thanks.

If you own Adobe PDF you can use a free-text tool to fill it out.

No you can't since the forms are read-only and password-protected. (at least the
version "design date 03/02") At least I couldn't.

Come on Ian, is it really that hard to pick up a pen and write it in by hand? Cant
imagine you are gonna save any time by farting around on a PC.
Dont lose the old skills. You'll be able to impress your Great Grandchildren that you
can still use a pen one day.

Neil,
I agree with Ian, it would be really useful to have an editable version of the pdf.
Apart from being able to paste areas of your CV, it would also be very helpful if,
for example, you want the document reviewed by an agent, then updated etc. And some
people's writing is pretty atrocious - it ain't just lazyness.
Cheers, Paul.

There is a commercially available tool in the internet call Advanced PDF Password
Recovery. It can successfully remove any security or password protection from any
protected PDF file. By doing this, you can use the free text tool to fill up the
electronic form (AS A PRACTICE AND NOT FOR SUBMISSION). Anyway, I did this and I
personally did not find it easy to fill.
I managed to find the electronic version of the PDF form with boxes you can type in
without using the free text tool. However, the version of the form is a bit
out-dated. Anyway at least you can use it as practice still. The changes in the forms
shouldn't be much.
Hope the above helps.

A far simpler method is to simply open the PDF in Mac OS X 'Viewer' application. From
there you can simply print the file as a PDF which strips out all the originals
security settings in the process thus allowing you to do anything you want with the
copy. This is actually a well known bug in Mac OS X - it shouldn't be able to do this
and it makes a mockery of Adobes PDF security features! But it is very useful
nonetheless.
