Hi just interested to know if anyone out there has converted from the 457ie(temp business) visa to the 845 permanent visa and if so what were the time scales etc?

Are your company puttin gyou forward for it?
if so, it can take around 6 months (depending on the work-shy-level of your case officer
)
Otherwise it takes around a year in general (in my experience) - sometimes a bit less.
