457 Processing time
Hi,
My employer filed my application for a Subclass 457 Visa around 1st
week of January 2007. He is already a registered sponser and has
applied through the Business Services. Its an intra company transfer. It
says on the website that it takes upto 4-6 weeks.Has anyone in the
group been in a situation like this.
Could someone tell me how long it may take for processing in my case?
Is Medical compulsory for this Visa and if yes when is it required?
Regards,
Agathi

Yes 4-6 weeks seems fair if your case is straightforward.
Usually you would only need a chest xray unless you will be working in the health or education areas.

Re: 457 Processing time
Ours took around 4 weeks to process. We only had to have chest x rays (I work in IT) but the kids had to have full medicals.
