417 - Working Holiday (tax number)
 

I have been granted a working holiday visa. I assume i'll need a tax number to work in oz under this visa. can i get this in advance of entering the country and if so:

How do i get it?
How long does it take to get?

1. No, you can't get it in advance.

2. You apply for it online once you've arrived in Australia: www.ato.gov.au

3. It can take up to four weeks to arrive (will get posted to your address).
