Default 410 visa and FIF tax exemption on Pep's ans Isa's

I have recently received a 410 retirement visa for OZ. As a temporary resident in Australia (4 years) does anyone know whether income from isa's and pep's will be tax exempt under the FIF rules by the ATO in Australia ? What about other sources of 'foreign income' ?
Grateful for any help to make a pensioners income stretch further.....

I'm at about the same stage as you with the 410 visa. Bad news Im afraid, you pay tax on any income generated anywhere in the world. If you don't bring it into Australia and save it off shore you may get away with it.

Is it worth the worry though?

Last time I checked, there were some exemptions from the FIF rules for temporary residents in certain circumstances.

Try http://www.ato.gov.au

Best to get professional advice as this is a complex area.
