Hi all
To all those waiting for meds request, we received ours this morning, we applied april 2003, 136 skilled.
I have a feeling that 2004 is going to be a good one!!!!!!

thanks 4 letting us know.......
our application for 136 skilkled ind. was acknowledged on the 29th of may.......
There seems quiet a few ov us for May........lets hope was all hear something soon........

I dont anticipate hearing for a while yet, however friends of mine applied July 2003, already had meds requested and carried out. Also skilled independant.

seems like you friends were lucky coz there is loads of us from around april/may waitin.
when did you apply ? and were you friends sponsered in any way or just purely skilled ind 136 with a regular skill not a nurse.

They are skilled independant, submitted July. We were skilled sponsore, ready to submit at the same time then `lost` our sponsor.
He decided he fancied a couple of years back in brit. Thanks alot said I. Anyway had to retrack and go skilled Independant, put us back a few months. we submitted Nov.

did youre notification just come throught the post or did aspc email you to ?and was the envelope yellow, i have heard of some being white!

Hi kev
the envelope was canary yellow A4 size and no e-mail.
The postie had been aware of the "yellow envelope" for about 30 weeks and he was so excited, we had to let him know that it definately was the meds request.
Bless him.

Congratulations, what a fantastic New Year surprise!
All of our envelopes were bright Canary yellow as well. We got the meds request by post, but heard via email first for the final visa.
